DELRIN® 511P is homo-polymer acetal from DuPont that offers enhanced

crystallization characteristics. This higher level of crystallization helps to augment

aspects of the physical properties such as fatigue strength, stiffness, and creep

resistance. Delrin® 511P is a medium viscosity acetal homo-polymer with improved thermal stability and modifications for more precise molding ( reduced warpage, less shrinkage, fewer voids). Delrin® 511P Resin specification: ASTM D6778-06 POM0111 superseding ASTM D4181-00 POM111.

 

In 2002, DuPont Company discontinued production of Delrin® II 550SA resin ... this has been replaced by Delrin ® 511P.
