MYLAR® D FILM Type 516 (Clear)

Mylar® D or Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), is a strong, heat resistant,

and electrically insulating film which is treated on both sides to give it

outstanding slip and handling qualities. Mylar® D is clear, brilliant material

is ideal for metallising and applications that require superior optical

properties. Approved by the US Library of Congress for archiving and

conservation. Mylar® is a (PET) polyester film. Mylar® film is available in

two standard types, Mylar® A and Mylar® D.
