CAST NYLON FOR FDA COMPLIANT AND HIGH STRENGTH APPLICATIONS

-Cast Nylon Natural is used for food contact applications and industrial applications. Unmodified type 6 nylon offers the highest strength and hardness of the nylon 6 grades. Cast Nylon Natural is FDA, USDA and 3A-Dairy compliant. The material color is off-white and primarily used for food contact parts. 

 

CAST NYLON FOR HIGHER HEAT APPLICATION

-Cast Nylon Heat stabilized Blue offers long term thermal stability to 260ºF. It is blue in color and used in a variety of bearing and structural applications such as wheels, gears, rack and pinion and custom components. Material color is blue. 

 

CAST NYLON FOR IMPROVED LOAD BEARING CAPABILITY APPLICATIONS

-Nylon MD contains finely divided particles of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) to enhance its load bearing capabilities while maintaining the impact resistance inherent to nylon. The material color is grey/black used for bushings, gears, sheaves and more.

 

CAST NYLON FOR BEST WEAR RESISTANCE AND LOWEST COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION APPLICATIONS

-Nylube® has substantially improved wear resistance abilities compared to any other grade of cast nylon, while retaining excellent physical property characteristics. The material color is red used for wear pads, stabilizers, stoppers, pulleys and L-shape wear pads.

 

CAST NYLON FOR HIGH LOAD APPLICATIONS WHERE LOW COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION IS NEEDED

-Nylon MD Oil-Filled has combine both molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) and oil for the load capability. Nylon MD Oil-Filled is ideal for slide pads, thrust washers and trunion bearings. Material color is Black.

 

CAST NYLON FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS WHERE A LOWER COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION IS BENEFICIAL

-Cast Nylon Green Oil-Filled combines the toughness of cast PA6 with an oil-based lubricant that is encapsulated within the nylon material. Oil-Filled Green Cast Nylon increases the load bearing performance of the material when compared to unfilled nylons. Oil-Filled Green Nylon reduces the coefficient of friction. Oil-Filled Nylon Green is an ideal material for industrial application in conveying and processing industries. Material color is green.

 

CAST NYLON FOR FOOD CONTACT APPLICATIONS WHERE HIGHER LOADS AND A LOWER CO-EFFICIENT OF FRICTION ARE BENEFICIAL 

-Food Grade Oil-Filled Cast Nylon Natural adds FDA compliance for applications where food contact is possible. Food packaging and processing equipment users can now benefit from the wear resistance, toughness and low coefficient of friction of Cast Nylon Natural Oil-Filled. Material color is off-white.

 

CAST NYLON FOR IMPROVED WATER ABSORPTION

Aquanyl® Cast Nylon is a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 12 produced via the anionic polymerization process using the monomer's Caprolactam and Laurinlactam. It has reduced water absorption, improved stability and impact strength. Material color is yellow used for seal rings, pipe clamps, thrust rollers, nozzels and bushings.
